Hi, I’m Kendra Willouer. From the time I’ve been three years old singing, dancing and acting have been my world. Perhaps it was in my blood from that young age, but whatever the reasons the theatre latched on and became who I am today. I learned I could let the world fall away on stage, become a character and just sing my heart out and express all that was within me.

I got involved with youth theater at the age of eight, started taking voice lessons at the age of ten, got involved with summer theatre programs and ultimately studied the Fine arts in college. You see I’ve always found “home” in music and theatre. When I sing I have the chance to share a piece of myself with the world; to touch them at the depths of their souls. When I'm acting I become someone new, and when I dance I can get lost in the rhythm and lose myself in the music.

I’ve been blessed to have many opportunities along the way both in Summer theatre projects & college productions to working on small semi professional projects in Connecticut. I’ve been part of off Broadway shows & have loved being part of USO having the treasure to Perform for Veterans of this great country.

These days I can be seen from time to time sharing my gift of music with my local community, or singing for a wedding here and there, but I’ve found my greatest gift in working with others. Guiding my students to find their true voice, to help breakthrough the barriers and see my students truly step into who they truly are. That’s what makes what I do worth it all.

My students become my world, I love seeing the moments you can discover something you thought was impossible is possible. When a student reaches that note for the first time, or discovers they truly have the gift to entertain others with a monologue; those are the moments I live for, or watching a child dance for the first time and seeing their expressions as they land that turn they’ve been working on.

Seeing my students soar and discover who they are not only in the classroom but beyond is what makes my heart feel whole. I’m filled with gratitude for the opportunities I’ve been given as I’ve grown up and have been blessed to be in this business and now it’s my chance to give back and share what I know. To help the child who wants to go into musical theatre, or the older woman who just wants to to learn to sing again like she used to, or the man who wants to learn to dance - I’m here for it all.
